I open this week with an amazing video where a man in his eighties performs a ballet with three kites. Not to be missed!

Last week Lee and I were in Greenville Maine which seems to be the snowmobile capital of the world. As we walked into a restaurant for lunch there were some 25 snowmobiles lined up with their operators inside having a meal. There are a lot of women with their own machines which is a step forward for those who refuse to ride in back of a big man forever blocking the view. All were friendly people which is what I have found here in Maine to be the norm - no stand offish so-called New England attitude.
A good day to be in and stay present to the moment. Here are a few photos.
Look closely into any fog
Weather-wise or self-wise -
The shapes that appear in the mist
Are all messages from the Deep.
Walking out on a frozen lake
our view shifts,
God's handiwork takes on a clear visibility
unseen in the normal day's events.
The ground fog hugs the trees in a gentle caress
speaking softly about hints of the Spring to come.
My long term mentor Tad Mosel,
preferred not to wear his glassed
as the world became softer without them.

I have a show with my photographs coming up at the end of February. Here is the invitation:
